The strategic alliance between COSOL & Extend Technologies has resulted in a successful implementation of SAP All-In-One for Mining into Central Queensland-based coal mining company, Ensham Resources.
"Go-live took place on June 1st on time and on budget. We were able to meet our requirements using the All-In-One template and standard SAP which meant that we were able to achieve a very high level fit for our business; without customisations," said Scott Haynes, General Manager Commercial, Ensham Resources.
"A fixed priced solution made sense for our business. Some of our staff had worked with other mining organisations and knew of the potential for large cost over runs with a SAP implementation," said Scott.
The SAP All-In-One for Mining solution is the result of an extensive R&D investment undertaken by SAP and the SAP Industry Mining Council (BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Peabody, Anglo Coal etc), delivering an industry specific solution for the broader mining community at an SME price point.

Extend Technologies supplied SAP licenses, resources and now ongoing SAP support, while COSOL provided project management, resources and critical mining expertise, ensuring the project ran smoothly.
