Extend Technologies to Deliver SAP Based Technology to Transform the Agency
SAP Australia has announced a $7.5 million data and information system contract from Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) for the upgrade of its information management systems through partner Extend Technologies.
Under the agreement, Extend Technologies will work in partnership with the EPA to create a new system based on SAP software that will combine EPA's core regulatory activities into a single, integrated system across all arms of the organisation. The business solution is centred on SAP ERP, CRM and Business Intelligence components within the Public Sector Industry Solutions arena.
The contract includes the provision of software and maintenance, implementation and ongoing support throughout the lifecycle of the partnership.
The project is expected to be completed in 2012.
Extend Technologies Managing Director, Max White said: "With this new solution, EPA will be armed with the tools they need to help streamline business processes and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly, confidently address evolving regulatory standards, and help mitigate risk.
"This contract with EPA leverages all of our capabilities - from providing SAP licenses, maintenance and implementation services through to application management and support."
