Extend Technologies and NTT DATA Group, a global provider of IT services including business consulting, technology, and outsourcing services, today announced it has been recognised by independent research firm Forrester Research, Inc. as a "Leader" in an April 2011 report titled: "The Forrester WaveTM: SAP Services Providers, Q2 2011."
The report measured 19 SAP services vendors, on scale, cross-industry expertise and global reach, and outlined what Forrester predicts will be the new SAP services economy in the coming years.
The Forrester Wave report is intended to assist in the evaluation and selection of vendor products and services. Forrester Research conducted SAP services evaluations throughout 2010 using 65 carefully defined evaluation criteria and interviewed vendors and user companies, and the final list of vendors was chosen for their product fit, customer success and Forrester client demand.
According to the report, the collective set of recent acquisitions by NTT DATA Group has given it a rapid entry to the SAP services global market. The Forrester report specifically mentions three critical acquisitions: Intelligroup, itelligence, and Keane, stating that "the complement of capabilities will be quite powerful" once the new group companies are fully integrated.
"NTT DATA Group is extremely happy to be named a 'Leader' in this prestigious report," said Kaz Nishihata, senior vice president of NTT DATA Global Business Sector. "Our commitment to customer satisfaction and focus on providing innovative and high quality services based on SAP solutions is evidenced by our work to harness the strength of 12 companies with strong track records for delivering high-quality, end-to-end SAP services. Key to gaining competitive advantage in an increasingly global market is aligning business and technology, and the shared expertise of the companies that comprise our SAP Global One team creates a powerful new systems integration team in the SAP marketplace."
Thanks to the SAP Global One team, which brings together more than 5,000 SAP consultants in 29 countries, NTT DATA Group is a global partner of SAP in a growing number of categories. The Group has multiple SAP Business All In One Solutions and is via itelligence a Global Value Added Reseller of SAP applications, Global Services partner, Global Hosting partner, and Global Application Management (AMS) partner. NTT DATA Group's pedigree of having won numerous SAP Pinnacle Awards is yet another testament to the quality of its SAP-related services.
